Pier-Gabriel Lajoie Melts Screen in Gerontophilia
-
Lake is an unusual boy: he is a young man with an old soul who discovers he has an odd fixation on the elderly.
-
Realizing that some day, if fate allows, he will be one himself, he is particularly fascinated by old men. He imagines their age to be a beautiful thing and recognizes how these men were once young and vibrant and attractive, as he is now.
- Pier-Gabriel Lajoie plays Lake and is so charming and handsome!
-
Although Lake has a girlfriend his own age, named Desiree, he wonders sometimes if his fixation on old men is unnatural and unhealthy – perhaps even sexual.
When his mother, who is a nurse, takes on a management job at an old folks home, Lake jumps at her offer of a summer job as an orderly there. Gradually, Lake comes to discover that the old people in the institution are being given psychotropic drugs to keep them in a catatonic state. Lake befriends one old man in particular, Mr. Peabody, who still seems to have some fight left in him.
They begin to form a strong bond. Mr. Peabody charms Lake with romantic stories of his youth and confesses his dream of seeing the ocean one last time.
Avoiding the vigilant eye of Nurse Stone, who administers shots and pills to the old folks, Lake starts to wean Mr. Peabody off his medication. Eventually, Lake springs Mr. Peabody from the institution.
Together they embark on a road trip telling everyone they meet that the old man is his grandfather and that they’re driving to the Pacific ocean. After numerous life-changing escapades, Lake is finally ready to accept his true feelings for Mr. Peabody, but everything changes when the trip takes a sudden turn.

Getting Go The Go Doc Project
How did I miss this?
I stumbled upon this cute little movie by accident this week – it’s a Sexy, innovative gay romance with Tanner Cohen & Matthew Camp!
“An affecting drama full of heart and humor, reminiscent of instant classics like Weekend.” — Edge Boston
This wonderfully innovative and exceptionally sexy drama has an infectious energy and a completely unique aesthetic as it tells a classic story of lust becoming love — and then some. Super cute Tanner Cohen (Were The World Mine) returns to the big screen as a college boy named Doc who drunkenly cruises a gay go-go boy named Go (super hot Matthew Camp – well known New York night life performer) with the pretense of making a documentary about him.
“As they grow closer, flirtation blurs the line between subject and filmmaker,” the film’s description reads, “until a steamy night together solidifies deeper feelings.”
Though his character “Go” was inspired directly by his dancing alter-ego, Matthew Camp says he’s actually pretty different from what most believe him to be behind closed doors — he’s quite reserved, completely monogamous, an artist, a perfumer, and nothing like what you’d assume a New York City bar star to be.
“What you see in Getting Go is a rough representation of me,” he says. “I mean, I do run around shirtless all the time, Go and I are both not afraid of a lot of things, and we danced in our underwear, so we’re both confident. But I wouldn’t have handled most of the situations in the same way Go did. I’m not as sexual as him… I don’t go on a lot of dates, I’m very reclusive, hanging out at my house. Go-go dancing was very much a job for me and after I’d perform, I’d leave right away rather than hang out at the club.”
Now 30, Camp reveals that he began go-go dancing when he moved to the city at 21 in order to pay his bills. “I’ve never felt I should be embarrassed by go-go dancing,” he says. “It’s not prostitution – which I’m not judgmental about – but I view dancing more as performance. I don’t like opening myself up to people, so with go-go dancing, people get to just see my body, they don’t see what’s going on in my head.”

Air Travel Discounts if your Gay!
Airlines offering discount flights to gay people!
An airline has infuriated Republicans – by offering to fly gay people to Pride events across the US for a discount.
Alaska Airlines – which carries the name of the state known more for being the home of anti-gay politician Sarah Palin than for inclusiveness – made the offer as part of an ‘LGBT travel’ stunt.
Though it doesn’t exclusively apply to LGBT people, the airline has discounted flights to Pride events in a number of cities across the US.
It offers flights at a discount to Pride events including LA, New Orleans and Boston – in a move that has infuriated conservatives in the country.
Alaska Air said: “At Alaska, we have been longtime supporters of the LGBT community and remain committed to a more equitable society. We were elated when the State of Washington expressed the same commitment by legalizing marriage for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
“To show our continued support we are encouraging the LGBT community to travel, not only to Seattle, but to Pride events and gay friendly destinations all over the country.
“With that aim, we have put together this section of our site to highlight destinations that support marriage equality, Pride celebrations, and other things of interest to the LGBT community.”
Some have decried it as “discrimination” in favour of LGBT people, with one right-wing blogger claiming: “The establishment campaign to promote disease-spreading and culture-corroding perversity has reached the point that Alaska Airlines now implies discounts for homosexuals.

Gandalf and Dumbledore are getting married!
Dumbledore and Gandalf are getting married across from the Westboro Baptist Church and using CrowdRise to fundraise for Planting Peace.
This Sunday, JK Rowling¹s dream of a wedding between Harry Potter¹s Dumbledore and Lord of the Rings¹ Gandalf will take place. US equality group Planting Peace will be hosting ŒWizards Wed at the WBC¹ – a wedding ceremony between the two wizards at the Equality House located across the street from the anti-gay group Westboro Baptist Church. In lieu of wedding gifts for the soon-to-be-wed Wizards, Planting Peace hopes to raise funds for their mission via a CrowdRise site here: https://www.crowdrise.com/WizardsWed/fundraiser/Planting-Peace.
Aaron Jackson, founder of Planting Peace, created the organization “to take a stand against the hurtful words and actions of hate groups like the WBC,² and so “LGBTQ [lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer] youth understand that they have a broad platform of love and support in this world.² The organization is constantly reinforcing this mission through innovative and creative fundraisers on CrowdRise.com, like Virtual Pizza, which raised nearly $80K in response to the Religious Freedom Reformation Act.
More about it here.
³When we read the battle between J.K. Rowling and the Westboro Baptist Church, we instantly connected with Ms. Rowling¹s message on many levels. The Equality House was founded to take a stand against the hurtful words and actions of hate groups like the WBC. People often question why we even mention them, and Ms. Rowling¹s words were spot on. We must actively stand up to hate and ensure that LGBTQ youth understand that they have a broad platform of love and support in this world. That is a core part of what we do at Planting Peace. We are delighted to be hosting the Dumbledore and Gandalf wedding and stand with them in the face of bigotry and celebrate equality for all. The WBC won’t have to go too far to picket this union. They can look out their front window.²- Aaron Jackson/ President Planting Peace
Converse Gay Pride Sneaker
Another Gay Tennis Shoe! First it was Adidas – now it’s Converse that steps out with a pride-related shoe line. (Converse is owned by Nike).
The Converse Pride Collection is honored to join the LGBT movement. Any crusade that hits the streets as loud and passionate as this one definitely needs sneakers to fit the occasion. We happily abide. The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Pride hi-tops are adorned with stylish patterns and every color of the rainbow. Each color represents a special meaning to the community. Each step we take brings us closer to universal tolerance and equality.
Adidas Gay pride Shoe
WOW – this is pretty cool! Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Gay Pride!
Inspired by the unjust treatment of the gay and lesbian community in the 1960’s, adidas shows support for the community at-large with an admirable new release.
Outsole Independence Hall in Philadelphia on July 4, 1965 was the first ever LGBT picket.
The same year, adidas named its flagship tennis shoe the “Robert Haillet” after the French tennis pro. That shoe, of course, went on to become the Stan Smith following Haillet’s retirement from the game. It’s now the best selling adidas sneaker of all-time.
Crafted in a bold paint splatter aesthetic, a rainbow undertone is noted through the pack in honor of those affected years ago, and those still struggling for acceptance today. The inspired adidas “Pride” Pack drops on June 6 at select Three Stripes retailers.
I could not find the price yet…lets hope there are lot less than Kanye’s Yeezy’s which are $350!

Sweden Singing Sailor THIS WAY IF YOU ARE GAY
Do weapons solve peace?
Ask the Singing Sailor!
Swedish “defense system” sends out “THIS WAY IF YOU ARE GAY” in Morse code, to combat Russian submarines!
Washington Post reports: Late last year, Swedish authorities were perturbed by ALLEGED signs that a foreign submarine had entered their waters.
Worse still, many suspected that these submarines were Russian. It was a worrying reminder of Cold War-era aggression and perhaps a signal of Moscow’s newly provocative stance.
Sweden is not a member of NATO and spends a relatively small amount on its military. How could it hope to deter the Russian navy on its own? Increase the war budget to $1.9 BILLION some say.
The answer, according to one Swedish group, is simple: The Swedes must send out gay propaganda via Morse code.
On Monday, the Swedish Peace and Arbitration Society (SPAS), a group dedicated to the study and promotion of peace, released details of their plan in a video on their Web site.

Dan Savage and the Real O’Neals
This looks Adorable!
THE REAL O’NEALS.
What happens when this perfect family stops pretending and starts getting real?
We’re not sure how closely this resembles Dan Savage’s original pitch (it was supposed to be based on his upbringing), but he is one of the executive producers of ABC’s midseason TV series The Real O’Neals, which focuses on Kenny, the middle child of a conservative Catholic family who is struggling with the decision to come out.

This Book is GAY
There is a long running joke that after “coming out”, we should get a membership card and an instruction manual! This is that manual!
James Dawson’s THIS BOOK IS GAY, provides a straightforward and witty breakdown of all things LGBT.
As a former health teacher and acclaimed young adult author, James Dawson gives an honest, humorous, and informative guide to topics including coming out, hooking up, dating, bullying and homo/transphobia, politics, religious views, and more. It includes real stories from people across gender and sexual spectrums, the smashing of myths and prejudices, and hilarious illustrations by Spike Gerrell, allowing readers to learn what it’s like growing up LGBT.
This book encourages people to realize their best self in whichever way they identify (or don’t) and whomever they love. As a comical and informative instruction manual, James Dawson tells it like it is so that the readers may go out and experience for themselves.
Whether you have recently come out or have been out – I think this book can offer something for everyone. There is great section about the bible. And how to come back at people and argue things they try to refer to to from the bible and Leviticus!
For about $10 this is a very useful book! BUY IT! This Book is Gay
After being published in Great Britain, This Book is Gay was named one of Guardian’s Best Books of the Year.
The D Train with James Marsden
I have been IN LOVE with James Marsden ever since I saw X MEN and HEIGHTS. Oh the fantasies I have had about getting naked with him!
Jack Black has been away from the mainstream for a good four years, but he’s about to come back in a big way. In October, he’ll be playing R.L. Stine in the nostalgia-baiting Goosebumps film. Next month, he’ll begin starring in the new HBO comedy series The Brink.
But his return begins with something a bit smaller: this weeks release of the indie comedy The D Train. The D Train has Black playing a family man who risks his job and marriage in order to impress an actor who he went to high school with two decades earlier. Inevitably, he’s driven toward rock bottom as he becomes more and more desperate for people to think he’s cool.
Dan Landsman (Black) is the self-proclaimed chairman of his high school’s alumni committee. While planning for the 20th reunion he has the idea of convincing Oliver Lawless (James Marsden) the most popular guy in his graduating class, to return, thinking that this will make people want to attend.
The comedy was hotly discussed after its Sundance screening in January — especially for a startling scene in which the two take their “bromance” to a literal level.
When asked what it’s like joining Marsden in the bedroom?
“You know, I felt a little insecure because he’s a real physical specimen, you know?” says Black. “And never has my lack of muscular tone been so painfully on display.”
On the bedroom scene Black added, “That was the scene that made me want to do the movie…I was only worried that if we approached it too comedically, it could have been offensive or sort of generic, like something you’d seen before. So the only thing I was worried about was getting it right.”
It’s gotten dismal reviews – but I didn’t think it was THAT bad. I say 3.5 / 5

@Jarlos 420 Gay Male Models
John Tuite and Carlos Santolalla are a gay couple and working models AS A COUPLE. They are known by JARLOS420 on Instagram and love their pot!
Both guys have backgrounds in modeling individually, but they’ve made it clear that Jarlos, their gestalt presence, is the unit that they’re presenting themselves as for Fusion. Fusion is a boutique-style agency that is quickly making a name for itself in the New York market as well as abroad.
The decision to work together rather than separately, say the pair, came from pressures within their old agencies to remain in the closet about their sexualities.
“It’s so fucked up. After coming out, I didn’t want to be weird about it again and act straight at castings,” Tuite recounted in an interview with The Cut. “I met with this one agency and they said, “We’d like to sign you, but you have to delete your Instagram account with your boyfriend and you guys can’t go out to parties together anymore.” What the fuck?
