ALL MAN The International Male Story
So excited for this! A new movie is in the works that will take us behind the iconic International Male fashion catalog that transformed the “All-American Boy”, changing fashion, masculinity, and gay rights forever.
More than outrageous fashions, hunky models, and scandalous undies, ALL MAN is a journey across three decades of the International Male catalog’s lasting impact on fashion, masculinity, and gay rights. (I still have many of my old catalogs!)
With revenues at its peak of $120 million and circulation of over 3 million, the catalog successfully appealed to both gay and straight audiences. For gay men, the images of sensually dressed men were a gateway into a fantasy world providing an escape from the AIDS crisis and widespread homophobia. For straight men and their female admirers, the catalog gave permission to take fashion risks and enjoy a more carefree expression of sexuality without threatening their masculinity and sexual appeal.
ALL MAN: The International Male Story is designed as a tribute to the catalog’s unique aesthetic and cultural relevance. The film mixes exclusive never-seen-before photographs and videos, interviews with super fans and celebrities, and creative re-enactments of the infamous photo shoots, and more!

Singer Jared Huff – New Music
We LOVE Jared Huff!
We first met him in Chicago a couple years ago, when he passing through doing some gigs and promotions.
A free spirit with a softer side. Jared Huff is the middle ground. Originally from Indiana, he moved to Chicago and then to Los Angeles as a dreamer on his own trail.
With two catchy new singles online and an EP on the way, he is steadily gaining momentum in the pop music realm. He’s a playful guy who likes to have some fun, and sometimes fall in love. These themes are the subject material for both of his new singles “Trouble” and “Boomerang” (which can be found on Itunes/Spotify).
Jared will undoubtedly be one to watch this year as he and his team of LA-based collaborators work together to put on a show! With choreographer Devin Walker, he creates a show that is high energy and fun to watch! Sound engineer David Wachs, and LA-based photographer CJ Armenta Photography have all collaborated with Jared to reach his artistic vision on both of his recent singles. 2016 will see Jared stirring things up in several cities throughout the year… the ‘trouble’ has only just begun!

Abbey in West Hollywood Reality TV
David Cooley‘s The Abbey and its staff are going to be the focus of a reality TV show.
According to TMZ, the uber-famous gay bar – a two-time winner of Logo’s “Best Gay Bar In The World” award – will be getting its own reality show. Apparently, an unnamed production company is developing the show and an unnamed network is “lined up,” but shooting dates have not yet been scheduled.
The famous restaurant turned nightclub after hours has reportedly already started interviewing hopeful cast members. Auditions for new employees will also take place before the shooting begins according to TMZ.
The project may be like “Vanderpump Rules… with way more flare [sic],” so get ready for all the —probably contrived— catty drama you can handle.
Zac Efron Dirty Grandpa
ZAC EFRON IS BACK and half naked! Shots here from on the set of his new movie, DIRTY GRANDPA!
Surprisingly, Efron doesn’t play an ’80s bodybuilder. The fringe crop top and neon (blood stained?) harem sweatpants are just part of his wardrobe for the movie, set to release in 2016. Efron stars opposite Robert De Niro as young man who is forced to take his strict army vet grandpa (De Niro) on Spring Break to Florida.

Lisa Vanderpump and Proposition Love Jewelry
Proposition Love, a fine jewelry company that caters to LGBT couples will be featured on episode #18 of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Tuesday, March 17th on at 9pm EDT/PDT.
Newly ordained minister and “housewife” Lisa Vanderpump officiates her first-ever wedding ceremony in the garden of her new restaurant/lounge PUMP in West Hollywood with Bravo camera’s capturing every exciting moment of partners Magno Salva and Dominic Pierson’s memorable moment.
As the national LGBT marriage debate goes before the U.S. Supreme Court for a final decision this June, Proposition Love designed and donated rings and had the honor of presenting them to the couple on their wedding day. Sam Street and Jonathan Tack, founders of Proposition Love Jewelry, collaborated with Lisa Vanderpump to create the wedding rings for the first ceremony she was to officiate.
“Today I had the honour of officiating my first wedding at PUMP, beautiful couple entitled to equal rights. An emotional exquisite day! #LGBT” – Lisa Vanderpump @LisaVanderpump
Vanderpump worked with Street and Tack for weeks on the design of the rings, an interlocking motif crafted in white gold, symbolizing the love between newlyweds Dominic and Magno and the joining of their lives together.
Street commented “It was such an honor to design rings for Dominic and Magno’s special day as well as attending their beautiful ceremony. Lisa Vanderpump was the icing on the “wedding” cake. She is such a great advocate for our community.”
Prior to the wave of marriage equality sweeping the country, Street and Tack were married in California in 2008, as they couldn’t marry in their home state of New York. They are one of the 18,000 couples married during the short window of time before Prop 8 went into effect ending marriage equality in California.
Added Tack, “It’s encouraging to see support for marriage equality spreading nationwide and now finally before the Supreme Court; unlike when we were married six years ago in San Francisco’s City Hall.”
In preparation for the Supreme Court ruling, Proposition Love Jewelry created a video celebrating LOVE is LOVE with newlyweds Dominic and Magno, along with models Murray Swanby and Noah Wright and directed by Brad Hammer. The video can be viewed at: PropositionLove.com.

Eternity – The Movie
EXPERIENCE THE 80’S WITH
MUSICAL COMEDY
ETERNITY: THE MOVIE
“Note perfect…Strikes just the right chord.” – Fanboy Planet
“Seriously hard-core tongue in cheek love card to the 1980s.” – Frontiers LA
“Get ready to laugh to the max for all of eternity.” – Content Magazine
With a cast of hot newcomers and veteran character actors, VFRPR and Sidecar Productions are bringing Eternity: The Movie to theater screens in all of its 80’s glory beginning October 17th in New York at the AMC Empire 25, October 24th in Los Angeles at the Laemmle Music Hall 3, with additional markets across North America to follow.
Regrettable fashion, synthesized riffs, and power ballads dominate the 1985 music scene. That’s when Todd Lucas, a young and talented musician, moves to Los Angeles in hopes of making it big. Searching for someone to share his passion for smooth R&B music, Todd meets up with BJ Fairchild, a cocky loner who is convinced his life is more glamorous than it is.
The two musicians have big dreams but little future until their best friend, Gina Marie, gets them the break of a lifetime. Fate brings them together, love tears them apart, and their songs of heartbreak and loss redefine their genre. Todd and BJ epitomize the awkwardness of an era while becoming R&B’s most mediocre duo… Eternity.
The film features performances from a mix of rising stars such singer/actor Barrett Crake (Bruno and Earline Go To Vegas), Myko Olivier (TV’s “Castle”), acclaimed vocalist Nikki Leonti (Nikki & Rich, TV’s “Glee”) and cult favorites John Gries (Napoleon Dynamite, Real Genius, The Monster Squad), Martin Kove (The Karate Kid, TV’s “Cagney and Lacey”) and Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts (Runaway Train, Star 80, The Dark Knight), whose role as the duo’s fey store manager Frontiers LA called “worth the price of admission alone”.

Singer Songwriter Jared Huff
Jared was born in Louisville, KY and grew up with his mother and sister in the Indiana college town of West Lafayette. At the age of 10 his family saw a passion inside him to be a performer as he would put on concerts for the neighbors outside on the porch. Usually with some lights and a microphone that didn’t actually work he would sing songs by Aerosmith, George Michael, Queen, etc.
Jared has always had an eclectic music taste that also includes r&b, hip hop, pop, and classic rock. Growing up he excelled in music and learned various instruments including percussion, clarinet, flute, and acoustic guitar. He also studied with a vocal coach throughout college at Purdue University, where he obtained a bachelor’s of science in Hospitality & Tourism Management. Upon graduating however, there was an undeniable void – a calling. So in 2011 he made up his mind, packed his car and moved to California.
In January 2012 he was booked to perform in Orange County at an industry mixer. It was there that he met his soon-to-be manger and producer Martin Vidal. At this point in his life he knew that there was only one thing left to do in order to pursue his dream, so in April 2012 he made the move to Hollywood. From that moment he began working tirelessly on his demo EP in and out of the studio, with three original songs. Jared has performed in many clubs and mixers since the release, and as of spring 2014 has been back in the studio recording two new songs. 2014 will undoubtedly be a great year for Jared, and a great year in music.
When asked about what sets Jared apart, Martin Vidal responded,”It’s really rare to find an artist like Jared. I get approached all the time by people saying they want to do this or want to do that…everyone out here is trying to make it. But everything that Jared told me he would do he has done. Nothing or anyone can hold him back. It’s artists like him that I want to work with.”

David Beckhams Underwear at H&M
Frankly, I have seen David Beckham look better. Mind you, I would not kick him out of bed for eating crackers – I just think he has looked better.
That said, the father-of-four shows off his toned physique, as well as his many tattoos, in the pictures that were shot in L.A. by photographer Alasdair McLellan.
Posting the pictures on his Facebook
page this morning, Beckham wrote: ‘Hey everyone, here are a few shots
from my new Bodywear range for H&M. Hope you like them.’
Fans responded in their thousands by
‘liking’ the pictures and commenting on how ‘hot’ and ‘handsome’ the
star looks with his moustache and quiff hair do. – again, not a fan of that daddy look! Just sayin!
The L.A. Galaxy player joined joined
forces with H&M to design a range of underwear for men in February,
following in the footsteps of his fashion designer wife, Victoria.
In a statement he said: ‘I am so
excited about this new campaign for David Beckham Bodywear at H&M. I
wanted to express the strength and quality of the David Beckham
Bodywear collection with these images and also the wearability and fit.
‘I love the range and feel so comfortable in each of the pieces. It has become second nature for me to wear it!’

probably fighting. In this talk show, Guy Branum, Bryan Safi, Jeffery Self and Louis Virtel
chat about everything: the week’s news, a celebrity interview, a sex
chat with a porn star and an audience game! It’s like “The Talk” but
unlike Julie Chen, none of them run on a Duracell. Featuring Cissy Fenwick.

John Travolta in ANOTHER Gay Scandal
OH NO!
JOHN TRAVOLTA CAUGHT IN YET ANOTHER GAY LIAISON???
SAY IT ISN’T SO!
John Travolta has been hit with a sexual battery and assault lawsuit by an unidentified masseur.
The
massage therapist, identified in documents as John Doe, claims that
Travolta responded to an advertisement for his services in mid-January.
He alleges that their subsequent session was a nightmare of unwanted
advances, touches and bizarre declarations about sexual favors in
Hollywood.
According to court documents, the events in question unfolded on Jan.
16, when Travolta allegedly asked the masseur to meet him on a street
corner and then fetched Doe in a black SUV. Condoms, as well as
scattered chocolate cake wrappers, were said to have littered the car’s
center console and floor.
It was back to the Beverly Hills Hotel,
to a private bungalow, where Travolta stripped immediately and was
“semi-erect,” the suit claims, and Travolta then proceeded to
suggestively remove a towel covering his buttocks, touched the masseur’s
genitals repeatedly and tried to coax John Doe into a reverse massage.
Then, according to John Doe’s recollection (TMZ has the full suit here),
when Travolta got the message that no mutual play would go down, he
became erratic and verbally abusive, calling Doe a “loser.”
The
most troubling nugget in Doe’s account claims that Travolta went on a
rant that “Hollywood is controlled by homosexual Jewish men who expect
favors in return for sexual activity” and that his habit of making such
trades began in his “Welcome Back Kotter” days.
Team Travolta
says that the actor wasn’t even in California the day the alleged
shenanigans went down, and that that can be proved if necessary.
The
masseur is seeking $2 million in punitive damages.
PEREZ HILTON JUST FOUND 2 MORE CASES AGAINST JOHN-
Wow! Things just keep getting worse and worse for John Travolta as allegations of sexual harassment, battery, and assault keep piling up.
Two male masseuses have each filed lawsuits against the married actor
and now a former Royal Caribbean cruise ship employee has joined in on
the party.
Similarly to the other stories, Chilean Fabian Zanzi
claims hat Travolta stripped down naked and asked for a massage. That
was just foreplay for the sex he expected to have after allegedly
offering to pay the cruise ship manager $12,000. Here are the creepy
details:
“[He] said he had something on his neck. I thought it was
a fuzz. As I approached, he took off his white coat and was naked. He
hugged me and asked me to do a massage.”
The weird part is that this guy wasn’t a masseuse. He was simply in
charge of taking care of VIP guests. It sounds like Travolta severely
overestimated how far this man was willing to go in order to “take care”
of him.

Whitney Houston Cause of Death – Possibly Bath Tub Drowning
TMZ is reporting
that Houston was found in the tub with her face below the water’s
surface. Sources said Houston’s hairdresser had gone to check on the
singer after becoming concerned that she had been in the bathroom for
more than an hour. The body’s position suggested that Houston slid down
the back of the tub into the water. – She was supposed to attend the pre-Grammy party for Clive Davis last night.
One of Houston’s bodyguards reportedly pulled Houston out of the tub
and attempted CPR before the paramedics arrived.

Globetrotting Around the World with Jesse Archer and His Recent Interview with Adaumbelles Quest
JESSE is working his ass off these days! He now lives in Sydney with his partner, but he recently traveled back to the US for series of projects.
Early April he was in Los Angeles – “I had a great time with the talented cast & crew of Eating Out 4, now shooting concurrently with its 5th installment in Los Angeles.
Nobody can accuse me of not being a versatile…actor. For Eating Out 4, I did it in the shower! Phillip J. Bartell and director Allan Brocka wrote a hilarious script and I am thrilled to be a part of it. All I’m going to say is *spoiler alert* that I get to have sex in the shower with a much younger man and then get stabbed to death while coming. It’s very postmodern Janet Leigh. In other words, dream role!
Got to have some wet fun with sexy star Chris Salvatore.”
Read more about Eating Out 4 on Jesse’s site.
Then our bi-coastal Jesse showed up in New York with his boyfriend – and also with actor/director Casper Andreas – doing some promotions for the upcoming release of Violet Tendencies DVD. (Available on dvd May 24th). It’s Caspers and Jesses third film together – and along with Mindy Cohn (Facts of Life) she plays
a woman tries to distance herself from her gay friends in an effort to land a straight boyfriend.
Jesse attended the “wedding” of some dear friends, while in NYC – THEN Jesse met with his team in New York to do some post-production of his upcoming comedy about Fire Island called HALF SHARE.
THEN, I don’t know how he found the time, he chatted with our New York Blogging Buddy Adam of Adaumbelles Quest. Jesse talks about “a few of my favorite things including travel, movies, Angelina Jolie and Smurfette. Not in that order!” – “Travel keeps you young. You’re always discovering new things, like a child, and are able to incorporate these experiences into your life. As a writer, it’s excellent to absorb new influences and inspiration to keep you fresh.” –

One Gay Guys Journey…12 Goals in 12 Months
I met an author at a blogging conference a couple years ago named Donna Cutting. Donna wrote a great book called The Celebrity Experience: Insider Secrets to Delivering Red Carpet Customer Service.
She sent me a note about her cousin who embarked on a cool journey this year. At 34 and gay and living in Los Angeles, he is examining his life. “Turning 34 has got me to think about what more I want from life and how I can go about getting it. I’m taking control and trying to shake up my simple routine. For the next 12 months, I will be trying to accomplish 12 carefully selected goals that will fulfill lifelong dreams, overcome fears, improve my quality of life or give me memorable experiences I never thought possible.”
His name is Liam Gillen and he lives in Los Angeles. “My life’s defining moment came 8 years ago when I took a vacation to LA to see a live taping of Will & Grace. When I got to the studio and was escorted into the audience seating area, I was in awe at the sight of Will Truman’s living room only twenty feet away. It’s difficult to explain, but right then and there I made the decision to move to LA. I understood that moving just for the sake of living where television is made was drastic. Six years later, I am still living like a LA tourist and wondering what else life has in store for me!”
He set up the site and decided to blog about his journey as a way to help keep himself on track. Knowing that friends, family and even complete strangers are holding him accountable, will force him to stay motivated.
It’s a great idea! Some of the goals are very targeted, like becoming more financially responsible. And some could be a bit of a challenge perhaps to reach. Like becoming a member of the Los Angeles Gay Mens Chorus .
“One of the first things I did after coming out to my parents (besides trying to erase the memory of my mother asking me if I’ve ever had “the anal sex”) was seeing the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus perform. This was an especially great concert because Nell Carter was a guest soloist and it was the first time I could participate in gay things openly.
After the concert, I was determined to try out. Auditions came and auditions went yet I still couldn’t bring myself to go for it. I was too terrified at the thought of singing in front of people. No one was pushing me to do it so it was easy for me to put it off and say “I’ll try out next year”. Ten years later, I’m living in a new city but still saying, “I’ll try out next year”. “
Another goal is having dinner with Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper! Liam is a clever and witty writer and on a great journey. I wanted to share his site with all of you and perhaps you will check it out.
12 Goals 12 Months
And Kathy, if you are reading this, he is waiting for your call!
