Real Housewives of NJ’s Teresa Spent $60K Shopping…After Filing Bankruptcy

When you file for bankruptcy,
you are supposed to turn over
your charge cards
and not use them.

Or they call that  FRAUD.

Although Teresa Giudice and her husband owe millions of dollars to other people, the Real Housewives of New Jersey diva went on a $60,000 shopping  spree — after filing for bankruptcy!

The reality TV star and her husband Joe — who owe various people  some $11 million — were in a Newark, N.J., court yesterday trying to stop a scheduled Aug. 22 auction selling off the contents of their Garden State mansion. It was during this appearance in front of a bankruptcy judge that it was revealed that Teresa went on a   spending spree days after asking the courts to wipe out their multimillion-dollar debt!

So what exactly did Teresa buy for $60,000? In addition $8,800 for curtains, she spent nearly $45,000 on wall decorations, tables, chairs and urns.  Yes, urns. I am sure they are  FABULOUS URNS! Um, Honey, have you seen that show  “Design on a dime?” You need a  good  gay  designer  girl. E-mail me !

Judge Morris Stern said in court, “These were not Ikea-purchased  items. These were from high-end design stores.” However, he also agreed to postpone the auction until Oct. 3.

Today, Teresa’s lawyer defended her, saying she was spending the advance she earned for her book, Skinny Italian: Eat It and Enjoy It Live La Bella Vita and Look Great, Too! . And because she earned the money after filing for bankruptcy last October, she was able to purchase whatever she wanted.
