Dolce Gabbana Against Gay Adoption
In a 2006 interview with an Italian newspaper, Dolce (of Dolce & Gabbana) expressed views against gays adopting, saying:
“I am opposed to the idea of a child growing up with two gay parents. A child needs a mother and a father. I could not imagine my childhood without my mother. I also believe that it is cruel to take a baby away from its mother.”

Sir Elton John has called for a boycott of fashion label Dolce & Gabbana after the legendary designers criticised same-sex families.
In a scathing post on picture sharing site Instagram, the furious singer branded Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana “judgmental” and “archaic”.
It followed an interview with the designers in Italy’s Panorama magazine in which the pair said: “We oppose gay adoptions. The only family is the traditional one.
“No chemical offsprings and rented uterus: life has a natural flow, there are things that should not be changed.”
Dolce added that procreation “must be an act of love”, saying: “You are born to a mother and a father – or at least that’s how it should be.
“I call children of chemistry, synthetic children. Rented uterus, semen chosen from a catalog.”
Gabbana added: “The family is not a fad. In it there is a supernatural sense of belonging.”
How can gay people say this???? You are in the public eye and gay people buy your clothes! LIE if you disagree.
An estimated 37% of LGBT adults have had a child and there are an estimated 6 million children with LGBT parents.

Death for in sodomy CA
Is this a publicity stunt? WTF?
A lawyer in California has submitted a ballot initiative with the state Department of Justice calling for the death of anyone who engages in sodomy in the state, the San Diego Gay & Lesbian News reports.
The proposal by Matt McLaughlin, who lists his address in Huntington Beach, was received by the initiative coordinator at the Office of the Attorney General on Feb. 26. Enclosed was a $200 check and the complete text of his “Sodomite Suppression Act.” The act outlines seven measures relating to those who engage in same-sex sodomy, “a monstrous evil that Almighty God, giver of freedom and liberty, commands us to suppress on pain of our utter destruction even as he overthrew Sodom and Gomorrha.”
McLaughlin recommends punishment by death, even though a judge ruled that California’s death penalty is unconstitutional last June:

Gay Pride parades were created as an answer to oppression and unequal rights. I’ve heard people say “you don’t see Straight Pride parades”…and that’s because straight people don’t need them.
No one’s calling straight slurs out of car windows or getting up in churches and telling them their unions are unholy and their very lives are condemning them to hell.

The Hollywood Reporter has notified the Beverly Hills Hotel that it will not hold its annual Women in Entertainment breakfast there because of the hotel’s ties to the Sultan of Brunei, who has instituted a severe new penal code based on Sharia law that calls for death by stoning for homosexuals and adulterers.
“The recent despicable decisions by the Sultan of Brunei make it impossible for us to consider moving forward in any way with any hotel that is part of the Dorchester Collection,” said Janice Min, co-president and chief creative officer of Guggenheim Media’s Entertainment Group, which publishes The Hollywood Reporter. “We have huge respect for the local staff and management of the Beverly Hills Hotel and would like to thank them for two decades of partnership. We hope one day to be able to work together again.”
What began as a grassroots movement two weeks ago when designers Brian Atwood and Peter Som and Los Angeles boutique owner Cameron Silver asked their Instagram and Twitter followers to boycott the Dorchester Collection of hotels, to which the Beverly Hills Hotel belongs, has quickly gathered momentum, with prominent organizations dropping plans to hold dinners and fundraisers at the landmark hotel on Sunset Boulevard.
The Dorchester Collection is owned by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah through the Brunei Investment Agency. Last week, Brunei became the first East Asian country to adopt sharia law,
which calls for flogging, dismemberment and death by stoning for crimes such as rape, adultery and sodomy.
Nikolai Alexeyev Has Final Meltdown
Russian gay activist Nikolai Alexeyev, who until now was considered
Russia’s top lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) advocate,
appears to have ended his political career tonight in a series of
anti-Semitic Facebook and Twitter posts that have even his most ardent
supporters calling out his ongoing anti-Semitism.
I’d reported earlier on Alexeyev’s anti-Semitic social media posts last week, and on his earlier run-in with charges of anti-Semitism.
Last week, in an apparent fit of ire against a (Jewish) man who penned
an op ed in OUT magazine critical of him, Alexeyev retweeted comments calling the author a “jewish pig” and “israeli monkey,” and calling OUT magazine a “jewish slut magazine that supports jews and their filthy faggotry propaganda.” Alexeyev then tweeted and posted on Facebook his own comments about Jewish vodka being made from sperm. Russian) spearheaded a country wide campaign against LGBT teens using a
popular social network VK.com to lure unsuspected victims through
personal ads.
VK.com social network in order to organize illegal militant groups in
every Russian city.
targets exclusively male teenagers who respond to the same-sex personal
ads and show up for a date. Captured victims are bullied and often
tortured while being recorded on video.
Video recordings of bullying and
tortures are freely distributed on the Internet in order to out LGBT
teens to their respective schools, parents and friends. Many victims
were driven to suicides, the rest are deeply traumatized. So far Russian
police took no action against these “movements” even though Russian
criminal code was clearly violated and despite numerous complaints from
parents, victims and LGBT activists. Social network VK.com
intermittently shuts down selected groups and profiles only to allow
them to be re-open on the next day. Currently, the founder of VK.com,
Pavel Durov, resides in the US and so far has not released any

Oprah in Trouble for using Foreskin Skin Cream
An anti-circumcision group based in Vancouver
plans to protest in front of Rogers Arena on Thursday, because Oprah
will be there for whatever reason.
Glen Callender (who looks like this),
founder of the Canadian Foreskin Awareness Project, is mad at The
Mighty O for using a $150-a-jar face cream that’s got
foreskins in it. (well, sort of…see below)
Oprah has been using the cream for a million years and
Glen says that it’s very hypocritical of her to speak out against female
genital mutilation while she’s got blended dick hoods smeared all over
her face.
Glen tells The Owen Sound Times
that Oprah would never put a clitoris on her face (insert
gaylekingsmirking.gif here), so why is she putting foreskins on her
face?
“Imagine how Oprah would respond if a skin cream for men went on the
market that was made from parts of the genitalia of little girls. That
would be an outrage and rightly so. I would like Oprah to come to her
senses and realize that all children have a fundamental human right to
keep all their genitalia and to decide for themselves if anything gets
cut off.”
SkinMedica says that they don’t exactly rip the foreskin off of men
and then throw it into a blender. The makers
of the cream say “they use foreskin fibroblast — a piece of human skin used as a culture to grow other skin or cells.“

Russia Bans Gay Pride for the Next 100 Years
This is so scary.
I scan hundreds of headlines every day. And in the last year especially, with more and more progress for gay marriage and gay rights, there is a growing backlash, worldwide, against gays. And I see the tension heating up to alarming levels. From the Republican backlash to the Christian backlash and the extremists who hate gay people. I don’t care what city you live in, please, be alert of your surroundings at all times. There are haters everywhere.
Earlier this year in March, we saw the St. Petersburg laws silencing gay people. Now, just a week after protestors for gay rights were arrested in Moscow, a district court upheld the decision by a Moscow city court to ban gay pride parades for 100 years.
Yes, the government can now legally forbid gay pride for a century, from March 2012 to March 2112.
North Carolina Amendment One and Scary Times

The North Carolina Same-Sex Marriage Amendment will appear on the May 8, 2012 ballot next week, in the state of North Carolina as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment.
The measure would define marriage in the state constitution as between one man and one woman, and would ban any other type of “domestic legal union” such as civil unions and domestic partnerships.
Same-sex marriage is already illegal in the state of North Carolina. The proposed measure, however, would add the ban to the state constitution.

Being gay in the Middle East is taboo. Friends have told me you can find gays in Dubai – the “bars” are very secretive and underground.
In the Emirates, while being openly gay is illegal, the community has
blossomed in recent years. Mark, a gay Canadian man, said that “the community has increased dramatically and people are more
willing, and accepting, of the LGBT community here.” – Still, I am not convinced.
Crackdowns in Arab countries
against homosexuals is common and swift, with many countries employing
the death penalty against convicted homosexuals.
Now, a new report published by Identity, a gay magazine in Kenya,
reveals that gay Kenyan men are being trafficked into the Gulf as sex
slaves for the wealthy.
The report alleges that gay and bisexual men are lured from
university campuses – particularly from Kenyatta University – with
promises of high-paying jobs and then transported to labor as sex
workers for men in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
The publication interviewed one Kenyan victim who was promised a job in Qatar but ended up suffering sexual abuse.
Qatar specifically, has no laws against human trafficking, which has made cracking down on the practice nearly impossible.
While the elite and super wealthy want to be gay, that would go against
their traditions. So instead they often marry and then hire escorts or do this
kind of thing, to have their real desires met. It is a problem of
society not opening up to the gay lifestyle and forcing it to the

US Westboro Baptist Church to picket the Church of Scotland over gay ordination
Members of the notorious Kansas based homophobic Westboro Baptist Church will travel to Edinburgh in Scotland to picket the Church of Scotland embroiled in a crisis over the ordination of gay ministers. The Westboro Baptist church plans on 30 October, to picket Queen’s Cross Church in Aberdeen which has decided to induct Scott Rennie as the first openly gay minister in the Church of Scotland. Westboro church has also plans to picket the Church of Scotland during its autumn conference scheduled to hold in George Street on October 28. Scott Rennie has reacted to news of the plan, announced on the website of the Westboro Church, to picket the Queen’s Cross Church. Mr. Scott Rennie said: Everyone and anyone is welcome at Queen’s Cross Church – that’s the way Jesus was, and that’s the way we are. If they don’t want to join us in worship and choose to protest, then that will be up to them….I know a lot of people are concerned by their visit, but I am quite relaxed about it…At the very least, it is a good reminder to us all of the dangers of fundamentalism, and the absurdity of where it can lead you. Members of the Phelps family Westboro Church have been refused entry into Britain in the past on the grounds that they incite racial hatred.

Foote waited outside the Fifth Avenue Apple flagship for almost 41 hours, powering through sleep deprivation, yesterday’s downpour, and an incident in which a stranger stole her donuts. Ultimately, she sold her space to an app developer who told Mashable that he bought it because he wants his new iPad with him when he leaves on a business trip tonight. I don’t think you can write that off dude.
If you had bought Apple stock instead of an iPod back in 2001, you’d be about $10,000 richer. According to an assessment by Kyle Conroy, you’d be a few times richer if you bought Apple stock instead of Apple gear on day of launch.

HARVARD Says Urine on Gay Books Was an Accident
The texts apparently had urine poured over them and police are investigating the incident as a hate crime.
According to student newspaper The Harvard Crimson, an empty bottle was found next to the ruined books in Lamont Library.
The vandalism happened on November 24th and library staff apparently delayed reporting the incident because they wanted to assess the value of the books, which was estimated at several thousand dollars.
All had to be thrown away.
OOOPS!
NOW Harvard College library says it was not a hate crime after all, but a simple accident caused by a staffer who spilled a bottle of liquid waste on 36 tomes.
Why a bottle of urine was sitting on a library shelf in the first place has yet to be explained.
“This incident was initially reported as vandalism and characterized as a hate crime,” Evelynn Hammonds, dean of Harvard College, wrote Monday on the university’s website. “We have learned this morning that the books, while indeed damaged, were damaged by our own library personnel accidentally spilling a bottle of what was reported to be urine that had been left on the shelf.”
WTF?
First, how big was this bottle that it spilled and soaked some 30 books?
WHY was the bottle in the library, in the gay section?
AND HOW do you just “accidentally” knock it over and spill it? There was no lid??

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has blocked a judge’s halt to the military’s ban on openly gay and lesbian service members.
The decision comes just one day after Army recruiters prepared to process out LGBT applicants.
The court advised the group that filed the intital lawsuit, the Log Cabin Republicans, to file response arguments by Monday. The group says the ruling is disappointing but a minor setback.
Cynthia Smith, a spokesperson for the Pentagon told reporters the stay is “appropriate.” Though it’s still unclear whether or not openly gay and lesbian recruits will be turned away.
Lieutenant Dan Choi was one of the service members who attempted to re-enlist. Choi, a West Point-educated Iraq War vet, was discharged for violating the military’s anti-homosexuality policy.
Defense Secretary Robert Gates’ attempt to carefully ease the military beyond “Don’t ask, don’t tell” is collapsing in a shambles, as a verdict on the constitutionality of the ban on military gays seesaws uncertainly through the federal courts. A previous attempt in Congress to repeal the law ended, in effect, in a hung jury. Meantime the military, which prides itself on strict rules and tight discipline, is awash in confusion .
As things stand, the ban on gays and lesbians serving openly in the military is still in place. Sort of. At least until Monday. Or maybe Thursday afternoon, when the Pentagon may issue new guidelines. WHAT A MESS!
Principal Jennifer Chauby is Combating Anti-Gay Slurs at Her School

Thank God and Al Gore for the Internet! 30 years ago, stuff like this would happen, and it went unnoticed. These days, news can spread like wildfire.
Case in point – a school in the Cleveland area of Ohio. North High School in Eastlake, Ohio is attracting some attention after a student and YouTube user posted a video of high school students engaged in a group chant at a football game between North and its rival, Willoughby South High .
Student Heather Ike recorded the fans chanting “powder blue faggots” at the opposing team. Willoughby’s team color is light blue.
“It is completely unacceptable and we will look at the video and see if we can identify students and they could be suspended,” says Willoughby-Eastlake Superintendent Keith Miller.
He says that the principal at North High School did hear the chanting and intervened but that is not on the tape.
Students told Channel 3 News today that these types of chants have been going on for years, and that South High School uses it’s own anti-gay slurs against North.
“This is not okay and we will address it, ” said Miller.
Asks Heather Ike, the former student who posted the video to YouTube: “What are the teachers teaching our children at Wiloughby-Eastlake Schools? With the combined efforts of Mentor High School’s gay-suicide track record, all of Cleveland’s Eastern city school districts need to be educated about bullying and hate crimes against gays and lesbians!”

We spoke with the principal of North High this morning. Jennifer Chauby. She has been at the school about 3 years.
“When I first arrived at this school, there was a sporting event, and something similar to this happened. I was appalled! And we immediately addressed the students and said this was not acceptable and educated them as to why.” explained Chauby. “We even started a gay/straight alliance group here at the school. Now two years later, for some reason, this slur has reared it’s ugly head again, and we will not tolerate it. “
“We have again, addressed the students and have said, THIS MUST STOP. We have speakers come in, in the coming months, who will also speak on the topic. We have had a bullying program in place and all our staff is sensitive to the needs of all students and I think we are very pro-active. It’s unfortunate this happened. But we are taking to steps to educate the students.”
How do we educate the young? At school? At home? How do we teach love. Acceptance. Compassion. Tolerance. And not hate?
That is the big question.
