“What are you gonna do about it, faggot?”

Those were the words hurled at Justin Bieber by a 12-year-old  “Agressive kid”.

Rumours are swirling online about an alleged assault involving Justin Bieber, but the singer — and police — remain tight-lipped.

An incident allegedly occurred between Bieber, 16, and a 12-year-old boy at a laser-tag game in Richmond, B.C., on Friday afternoon.

Alleged witnesses have told TMZ that Bieber was targeted by a 12-year-old boy and his pals. Eventually, the laser-zapping reportedly turned to bullying. A source tells TMZ that Bieber confronted the kid about his shenanigans, saying, “That’s enough,” to which the 12-year-old reportedly responded with a homophobic slur. Neither Us Weekly nor TMZ report that Bieber was spotted fighting with anyone.

TMZ reports that Bieber may in fact have something to say about the incident, though nothing official has come out of his camp yet. The alleged homophobic bent of the supposed bullying has inspired Bieber to take a stand, according TMZ reports.

According to TMZ, Bieber has been “telling friends he had no idea how hurtful these comments could be,” and the pop star will now lend his voice to an anti-bullying campaign because “Justin felt it was important for people to know what happened.”

MTV reports the star is expected to record a public-service announcement for the anti-gay bullying campaign, It Gets Better , within the next week.
