Paris Hilton Says Off The Cuff Gay Remarks in Back of Cab

Lets face it – GRINDR is not a matchmaking dating site – it’s a hook up site. And lets also face it, A LOT of gay men have anonymous sex and I would bet, quite a few, do not play safe.

MOST straight people do not understand gay hook up, anonymous sex sites – and it is not surprising if someone were to say “Gay guys are the horniest people in the world … they’re disgusting,”  and “...most of them probably have AIDS.”

But when Paris Hilton says it – people get all up in arms. She reportedly told a male pal this,  in the backseat of an NYC cab on Sept. 7, while her friend was cruising on Grindr.

Was this homophobic?  Not really.  Many straight people do not understand the gay male hook up scene.

Reps for the 31-year-old heiress claim that the quotes were taken out
of context when they were secretly recorded by the NYC cab driver.

“Paris Hilton’s comments were to express that it is dangerous for
anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life threatening
disease,” Hilton’s rep told RadarOnline.com.
“The conversation became heated, after a close gay friend told her in a
cab ride, a story about a gay man who has AIDS and is knowingly having
unprotected sex. He also discussed a website that encourages random sex
by gay men with strangers.”

“As she was being shown the website her comments were in reference to
those people promoting themselves on the site. The cab driver who
recorded this, only provided a portion of the conversation.

“It was not her intent to make any derogatory comments about all gays,”
the rep continued. “Paris Hilton is a huge supporter of the gay
community and would never purposefully make any negative statements
about anyone’s sexual orientation.”
