Uber Sexy Gay BLAKE McIVER’s new song…Wish I Didn’t Need You
voice is enough to carry the song, and the music itself is quite pretty.
You will not be disappointed with this song. While Steve Grand is more
country rock and Eli Lieb is more alternative rock, Blake’s song is more
of a Pop ballad but that’s what sets him apart from all the new out
artists who are breaking through and finding a big audience. Do not pass
Blake up. He’s great! Plus Blake serves up a serious dose of sexiness.
Said McIver to Inside Edition: “It’s hard when you’ve been blessed to
have success at a young age, and then you wake up at 18 and no one cares
anymore…There’s no shame to getting paid to dance around in your
underwear.” – HELL NO!
X Factor needs GAY BI TRANS Sensitivity Training
Are gay people Aliens?? WTF??
ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION while watching singing competitions recently (ie X Factor and The Voice) the JUDGES told the female singers to do this or that for the male viewers…and likewise they told male singers to do this of that for the female fans. WHAT? What about the gay fans? Don’t we matter?
Why in this day and age, do we endure these homophobic comments?
Why are not gays people’s feeling considered?

Gay Music News: Stephen Leonard “Wanting it All”
STEPHEN LEONARD is an out Chicago singer-songwriter, music
producer/promoter, proud member of the Chicago Gay Hockey Association
and advocate for LGBTQ issues. His original music and community efforts
have garnered Midwest and national recognition for projects appearing
online, on television and in film.
In his new album, HIS FIRE, Leonard showcases a deep evolution in his voice, songwriting and producing from his 2010 home-recorded debut album, WITH A PEN.
NEW SONG AND VIDEO – WANTING IT ALL
“His
Fire is a personal collection of confrontations,” says Leonard. “When I
started writing this album, I was drawn to the physical and emotional
effects and fears of fire and its parallel relationship to man. Both can
be warm and giving. Both can be strong and attractive. And both can be
rather impulsive and even seen as threatening. Every song on this record
is me confronting the fire and digging beneath the flames.”
Leonard’s
passion for powerful music and individuality has helped pioneer a
growing and supportive community of singers and songwriters in Chicago
and has produced and hosted concerts and events that have helped raise
thousands of dollars for various causes. In 2011, Leonard received the Windy City Times’ 30 Under 30 Award for his outstanding contributions to the Chicago LGBTQ music and sports communities.
Gay News from Chicago – Singer John Jones Karma Man
John Jones is a singer/songwriter from Chicago.
As the liner notes say, “It’s hard to imagine working any harder or
capturing more of my heart and soul than I did on this record.”
part of me is there: the lover, the friend, the spiritualist…and, of
course, the flawed human being trying to keep his karma clean as he
navigates through times of light and dark. Sonically it’s my most
organic album yet – I wouldn’t call this Country Music but the earthy
arrangements certainly aren’t very far off. Like my first two albums,
“Everything I Have” was recorded at home, and this time around I even
have a couple of real, live guitarists augmenting my songs instead of
the samples and patches I’m usually limited to when I work alone.
People frequently ask me what the album sounds like, and I like to
think fans of Sheryl Crow, Chris Isaak, Coldplay or The Beatles have a
good chance of finding something to love here.
These are the stories of my life…spirutual beliefs, joys, heartbreak,
insecurities, resiliance, and of course love. My name is John Jones,
and this is “Everything I Have.”

Adam Lambert WILL Join Cast of GLEE
IT’s TRUE! Adam will join GLEE this FALL! Adam Lambert was rumored to appear on “Glee”
but Adam has come forward with the denial. Per National Enquirer, Adam
was said to be a “big-brother” type of mentor to Kurt, a gay character
played by Chris Colfer. “Glee guest star rumor: it’s a rumor. Sorry guys,” Adam tweeted.
cast shakeup that saw the departure of series regulars Heather Morris

(Quinn) and Amber Riley (Mercedes), who are all said to possibly return

Steve Grand – New Gay Male Country Singer
STEVE GRAND…from Chicago
But starting today… I’m laying it out there. I’m done playing it safe.
I don’t have a manager or a label or any sort of funding other than the
tip money I make playing piano downtown at The Joynt, and also,
ironically to some, in the churches on Sunday morning… (we’ll see how
long I’ll be singing “Glory to God” should this video see the light of
day).
As far as the ascetic achievements of the video… lets
just say I was lucky to have a good friend introduce me to the best team
I could have asked for… who held on to the roller coaster that was
this project and dealt with all my intensity and craziness as the true
professionals they were.
I wrote the song during a drunken
piano jam session at a party. I recorded the vocals in my parents
basement and worked with my friend Max Steger: http://maxsteger.com/ to record and mix the rest of the instruments.
I feel like music industry people wouldn’t like the idea of me
“pigeonholing” myself by telling this story as I have. But I don’t
believe the world sees change until it sees honesty.
So I went in on my own.
BUT my story would never have seen the light of day were it not for the kindness and generosity of so many that helped me through this process, many of whom asked for nothing in return. I know my passion and intensity for this project were a lot to deal with (that might be the understatement of the year.. ;)) I want to thank my crew and everyone involved for doing your best to help me keep my sanity… just barely. And thank you for sticking with me; for your flexibility and patience and helping to bring my vision to life. And to mom and dad… I know you guys don’t always understand just what the hell I am trying to do, but continue to love and support me nonetheless. It means everything to me…

International DJ Peter Rauhofer Dies
.
Recently it was announced on his Facebook page, that international DJ Peter Rauhofer was battling a brain tumor. Sadly, he has passed, according to a new message posted on his Facebook page by his manager, Angelo Russo:
Today the music industry has lost one of it’s true heroes.
With a heavy heart I must now report that Peter Rauhofer has lost his battle with brain cancer.
He passed quietly today and is survived by his mother, Helga, who resides in Austria.
She will transport Peter back home to his
final resting place there, but to all that knew Peter, his heart will
always be in New York City.
It makes me sad, not only that I have
lost a friend, but that the world has lost an amazing talent and that
future generations will never get to understand the magic that Peter
created night after night all over the world.
He is gone too soon but we will always have the vast body of music that Peter left for us.
Through his music, Peter will live
forever. The brightest stars always burn out too soon. Peter, you were
loved and you will be terribly missed. Goodbye my friend. Please rest in
peace knowing that you have brought so much joy to so many of us. I ask
that his true fans keep his legacy alive by sharing his music with
anyone who may not have had the opportunity to experience it for
themselves.
Rauhofer was 48.
Our thoughts go out to his friends and family.

Michelle Shocked Gets Canceled and Tries to Apologize
Last week in San Francisco, folk singer Michelle Shocked made headlines after she
went on an anti-gay tirade during the second half of her show at San
Francisco club Yoshi, Meow Online reports:
Michelle
Shocked, known for living up to her surname, cleared out San Francisco
club Yoshi’s last night, and shut down the venue, after she went on an
anti-gay tirade, which she summed up by saying, ”You can go on Twitter
and say ‘Michelle Shocked says God hates fags.’”
Now her “God hates fags” rant on Sunday night has caused 10 of the 11 venues at which she had planned concert dates on her tour to cancel, Billboard reports:
The Guardian reports, “Michelle Shocked has responded to reports that she went on a homophobic rant at a recent gig, insisting she has been misunderstood. “My support for the LGBT community … has never wavered,” she said in an open letter sent out by her publicist, claiming she was simply trying to speak up for “Christians with opinions I in no way share”.
“I
do not, nor have I ever, said or believed that God hates homosexuals
(or anyone else),” Shocked wrote on Wednesday. “I said that some of His
followers believe that.”
Unfortunately for Shocked, her statement follows the release of audio from the 17 March show, obtained by the San Francisco Bay Guardian. While the recording is a little hard to follow, Shocked clearly drew a line between California‘s gay marriage
legislation and a Christian apocalypse. “From their vantage point – and
I really shouldn’t say ‘their’, because it’s mine too – we are nearly
at the end of time,” she is heard to say, “and from our vantage point,
we’re gonna be – I think maybe Chinese water torture is going to be the
method. Once Prop 8 gets [repealed] and once preachers are held at
gunpoint and forced to marry the homosexuals, I’m pretty sure that that
will be the signal for Jesus to come on back.” (WTF???)
“To those fans who are disappointed by what they’ve heard or think I
said, I’m very sorry,” Shocked wrote. “I don’t always express myself as
clearly as I should … I’d like to say this was a publicity stunt, but
I’m really not that clever, and I’m definitely not that cynical.”
Lady Gaga Makes Hip Replacement Chic with 24 kt Gold Wheelchair by Mordekai
“I certainly wasn’t expecting that phone call,” Ken Borochov told the New York Post.
“I have never done a wheelchair but am always up for a challenge and
was thrilled to create what I affectionately dubbed the Chariot, a chair
fit only for a queen.”
Borochov’s Chariot is reportedly
plated in 24-carat gold, with a removable leather canopy. Incorporating a
leg-rest and Wisconsin-made spoke rim wheels, the seat can also recline
all the way back to allow Gaga to enjoy a nap.
Although
it was Borochov’s first time designing a wheelchair, he has worked with
Gaga before. Under his Mordekai label, the jeweller designed an ornate
crown last year, as well as the golden claw
she wore for an appearance at Harrods. Cher Lloyd and Nicki Minaj have
also worn Borochov’s pieces, and Kanye West bought one of his crowns.
The singer already seems to be using the vehicle to get around: she let photographer Terry Richardson take a couple of snaps, posing in what looks like a couture bathrobe. (It’s actually a custom gown with a Mathieu Mirano jacket.)

One Direction is SO GAY! These boys are constantly kissing, touching, grabbing on each other!
PROOF One Direction is GAY GAY GAY!
BUZZ FEED has put together an AMAZING collection of photos
showing the boys touching each other, kissing each other, even licking each other!
Yes, they *say* they’re just bandmates…
Best friends, even. But “Directioners” — as their emphatic fans so
name themselves — aren’t so easily convinced. The evidence of inter-1D
love and lust, well-documented by fans hungry for the big gay truth, is
hard to refute. Sure, it might just be surging pubescent
hormones. Or innocent displays of European man-on-man affection. Or, I
don’t know, some kind of elaborate, cruel, taunting joke.

the way of the eight track. Artists are struggling to find ways to
make money and break into the big leagues.
Increasingly technology has made that effort both easier and more
difficult. With the new Samsung Galaxy phones, all you have to do is
tap two of them together to share play lists and no one has to pay a
cent.
The failure to pay for music is hindering tons of talented people from making a living with their art.
However the Internet, like talent shows, allow artists great exposure
and they can become huge sensations. They can place their music on
ITUNES or other sites and not have to share profits with a large company
or a team of personal advisors.
True Youtube.com sensations are becoming rarer as more people attempt it.“
Iowa singer Eli Lieb has an amazing following of loyal fans. (with 8 million total YouTube views!). In a pop musical climate dominated by performers that are auditioned, packaged and produced for the public’s easy consumption, Eli Lieb has self-produced his debut album, titled simply Eli Lieb. AND IT’S AWESOME! The collection of 10 original songs resonates with honest and touching sentiments within cinematic melodies, delivered in the spirit of uncompromising integrity. Appealing to fans of Robyn and James Blake, Eli Lieb has created something emotional and empowering. And he is now putting more songs for his second album. OUT MAGAZINE recently caught up with Eli, check it out!
Another pop star, from North Carolina originally, has also built his own brand through social media networks. Since elementary school, Isaiah Grass has had a voice that has caught the attention of many. Singing with great energy, soul and purity of sound, he has been performing in front of audiences since the age of 7.
Isaiah was discovered in the summer of 2010 by LEDOM Management Group which happened to come across Isaiah’s photographs in Facebook. By late 2010, LEDOM Group became his managing company as a model and during late 2011 – LEDOM Enterprises signed him as a singer.
His debut single, “I’m a Freak”, was released worldwide on 01/11/11, becoming an internet hit with nearly 100,000 views in less than a month through his website. His second and third singles were acoustic songs with also a remarkable acceptance by his fans.
When asked about the future of his career, he gives a confident outlook on what he truly feels he has the ability to achieve; a music career working with the most talented and respected artists, a modeling career that breaks down barriers and inspires all to love themselves for who they are.
Both of these artists deserve our
five pink crowns stamp of approval.
Please support them!
